From 20 to 22 October Euradia Italia took part in Europa Project Week, the expo-forum on European projects held at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence, together with the team of the Italian Ministry of Culture. The presence in Florence is part of the support Euradia provides to the Archaeological Park of Ostia Antica in developing its European strategy.
The three days in Florence offered a valuable opportunity for dialogue on European project design, international cooperation and the enhancement of cultural heritage.
Euradia Italia supports the Park in defining and developing its European strategy, with the aim of identifying opportunities, fostering dialogue with international partners and making full use of the programmes and instruments of the European Union. The process builds on an already recognised vocation, since in 2020 the European Commission awarded the archaeological area the European Heritage Label.
The joint presence in Florence made it possible to explore future lines of work and to reflect on how cultural institutions can give their activity an increasingly structured European dimension. This means promoting new synergies, supporting innovation and growth, strengthening the international presence of cultural professionals and sites, and encouraging the sharing of knowledge and good practice.
For Euradia Italia, supporting the Archaeological Park of Ostia Antica in this process means contributing to a strategy focused on European dialogue, the enhancement of heritage and the development of new project opportunities. Participation in Europa Project Week is part of a broader commitment to connect cultural institutions, expertise and European instruments, so that cooperation opportunities lead to tangible growth.
